Scott Edmund Bright, age 66, of Port Lavaca, Texas entered eternal rest on January 19, 2026.

He was born on January 11, 1960, in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Jack E. Bright, and to the late Gwendolyn Ruth Bright.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Grace Memorial Chapel, 8819 U.S. Highway 87 North, Victoria, Texas. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place on Monday, January 26, 2026, beginning at 12:00 PM, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Victoria, Texas.

Scott was united in marriage to Karen Graham on June 10, 1990, in San Antonio, Texas. After working for Jack Bright Homes, he worked in civil service at Kelly AFB and Fort Hood Army base for 20 + years. In his leisure time, Scott found great enjoyment in working on automobiles and motorcycles, boating, hunting, and spending time with his beloved dogs.

In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Gayle Bright.

Leaving to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Karen Bright; Sons: Cody Bright and Lee Bright.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Port Lavaca Animal Shelter.

Scott--It has been more than50years since we hunted in Duval County. I remember very fondly how you took all the little boys out in the evening to shoot quail and rabbits for supper. Your parents would be very proud of the life you lived. RIP my friend!
