Scott Castor Obituary
Scott L. Castor, 59, of Linden, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born June 18, 1966, in Anderson, IN.
Scott worked as a truck driver for Prairie Farms and also owned Scott's Painting. Wanting to always keep busy he was a web designer, mechanic, inventor and a certified workaholic.
Scott had several hobbies or traits, some include, playing the drums and guitar, being a family man, he was known as a perfectionist, he enjoyed gambling and was very lucky. His family said he was a great mentor.
Surviving is his companion of the past 26 years, Amber Rayburn of Linden, children, Rachel Castor of Anderson, Cherokee Castor, Dakota Castor and Zachery Castor all of Linden. Three grandchildren, Malaki Castor, Tevin Castor and Armoni Castor. As well as a brother, Curtis Castor and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Scott was preceded in death by his father, Carl Castor, mother and stepfather, Shirley and Ernest Parra, a brother, JR Castor and a sister, Tammy Castor.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the time of the service at 3:00 pm on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel, 400 Twyckenham Blvd. Lafayette. Interment will follow at New Richmond Cemetery in New Richmond, IN.
