Very saddened to hear of Scott's passing. He was a very funny guy. I played a season of softball with him on the 1984 Oleco Overloads team. He was our pitcher and did a great job. We were 7-3 in the summer season and got off to a 2-0 start in the fall season when I had to go back to college. I never found out how they finished in that era of no emails or texts. I lost track with Scott and the guys after that. I remember that he brought a light-hearted and positive approach with his play. The Good Lord must have needed him upstairs to take him from us at such a young age. RIP Scott. My condolences to his entire family and all who were his friends. I've attached the team picture of the team. Scott is between Jeff Olds on the right and me on the left in the center of the picture.

I don't think we ever shared a hamburger together, but I'm quite sure we shared a cold one and a story! He always had a minute for you.

Scott was one of the loves of my life. He always had a twinkle in his eye, and a big heart. We shared our teenage years, then distance and time separated us. I have thought of him often.
He will be missed by all.
My sincere condolences,
Kelley Long
