With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Scott Anthony Cozzali on April 3rd after a long battle with cancer. He left this world surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and unwavering strength.
Scott was born on May 13, 1971, in Long Island, NY. He was known for his incredible sense of humor, kind heart, and deep compassion for others. His presence could light up any room, and he had a unique way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved.
Above all, Scott was a devoted husband, son, uncle, nephew, and friend. He cherished every moment with his loved ones, always putting them first and bringing warmth and joy into their lives.
Scott found joy in so many things, especially working on and racing his beloved '55 Chevy. He had a passion for fixing anything he could get his hands on and took pride in solving problems, big or small. But more than anything, he loved spending time with his friends and family, creating memories filled with laughter, stories, and adventure.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Lori Zinaich-Cozzali; his father, Anthony Cozzali, and stepmother, Loreen Cozzali; his Uncle Johnny Cozzali; his mother, Christine Cozzali (Gatto); his brother, Kevin Cozzali; and his cherished puppies, Zola and Mina. He also leaves behind countless friends and colleagues who were blessed to know him.
He is now reunited with his beloved brother-in-law, George Zinaich, his grandmother, Rose Cozzali, his grandfather, Joe Cozzali, and his puppy, Arlo—watching over us with love.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025 at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home in Huntersville, NC from 11:30 am- 1:00pm. Following the visitation a Service to celebrate Scott’s life will be held at 1:00 pm in the chapel at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.
