Scott L. Frank, 56, of Pocahontas, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, in St. Louis, MO, surrounded by loved ones.

He was born on February 5, 1969, in Highland, IL, to Lawrence and Patricia (nee Frey) Frank. On March 13, 1993, he married Anna Koberczky at Immaculate Conception, Pierron, IL.

Scott graduated from Highland High School in 1987 and married his loving wife in 1993. He was a devoted member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church and proudly served with the Highland-Pierron Fire Department for 20 years. While working many double shifts as a railway carman, Scott rarely missed a sporting event for his children or grandchildren. He enjoyed trail riding mules and never met a stranger. Scott loved cooking for others and was an avid hunter of coon, mushrooms, and wild asparagus. Known for his love of telling jokes—good or bad—Scott was a hardworking man deeply dedicated to his family. He cherished talking with his grandchildren via FaceTime almost every night and looked forward to weekly family dinners followed by a serious game of Aggravation.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Patricia Frank.

Scott is survived by his wife Anna Frank, Pocahontas, IL; children, Bret (Megan) Frank, Pocahontas, IL, Emily (Daniel) Meyer, Metropolis, IL; grandchildren, William DeSherlia, AnaBella Frank, Adalynn Meyer, Gracie Meyer; siblings, Keith (Laurie) Frank, Highland, IL, Pamela (Robert) Schuette, Breese, IL, Bradley (Christina) Frank, Highland, IL, Sherri (Mike) Keithly, St. Charles, MO, Jeffrey Frank, Greenville, IL, Lisa (Terry “Oscar”) Frey, Pocahontas, IL, Nicholas Frank, Pierron, IL, Kimberly (Jeremy) Knebel, Pocahontas, IL, and Kristy (Chad) Budde, Aviston, IL; Godchildren, Zach (Sheryl) Weiss, Derek (Allison) Frey, Mason Frank; many nieces and nephews.
