Scott Handler Obituary
Scott Jay Handler, 62, Denver; Son of Judy Handler and the late Donald Handler; Grandson of Sam and Evelyn Mandelbaum, both of blessed memory; Brother of Lauren (John Silva) Handler; Nephew of Gary (Debbie) Mandelbaum; Cousin of the late Brandon Mandelbaum; Great-nephew of Phyllis (the late Stan) Goodman; Also survived by a large extended family that has been in Denver for generations.
Scott graduated from Cherry Creek High School and the University of Arizona, where he studied philosophy. His thirst for knowledge and asking big questions lead him to a life of learning-for those who knew Scott they knew he was a thinker. He was a charismatic man and loved his family, religion, books, and especially dogs. He will be greatly missed. May his memory be for a blessing.
Graveside service, Wednesday 12/11, 1:30pm, Rose Hill Cemetery; Livestream on the Feldman Mortuary YouTube channel #2. Reception to follow at Zaidy's Deli & Bakery, 600 S. Holly St. Denver, CO 80246
