I am deeply sadden to hear of Scotty's passing. I had the pleasure and the honor to work with him as his renewal rep at FireEye. Scotty was a terrific person who cared about the people he worked with and cared about his family. He will be missed.

Cheryl, Ava & family-

We just heard about Scotty / your dad´s passing today and are so sorry to hear this news. Our deepest condolences to you and everyone else who is going through this loss.

I know we have not seen each other in quite awhile after life and moving to NJ got in the way, but we still have so many awesome memories of him which were confirmed in his amazing obituary.

As a fellow dad of a young daughter, I specifically, and fondly, remember as we were getting to know each other during school functions, house parties, and Viva Vienna: discussing new home construction and all the pain and suffering it causes; Scotty´s beloved Dodge Viper and the day he bought it brand new, proud, young, smiling ear to ear(!) and still owning it years after many have sold off their childhood cars; and the ancient Cypress trees along the rear property line at his dream home just built and how he wanted them lit a certain way so he could enjoy them from the rear deck / kitchen every night. We had a similar conversation about the large red maple in the front yard which still welcomes you to your beautiful bungalow home. But, most clearly of all, and this just popped into my head as I type this, Scotty telling me about his "wall of happiness" which ran from the first floor master bedroom to the kitchen that was to be lined with pictures of his wife and daughter and his family. He said walking past those photos every morning would be the perfect start to his day. My last visit there I got to see that wall; there were so many frames I couldn´t even tell the wall color. I´ll never forget these things, along with many others we shared. RIP Scotty- gone but not forgotten.

Again, our biggest condolences from Zoe, Roman, Liz, and Andy Bentzinger
