Scott C. Krueger, 68, of Exeter Township, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 in the Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Roxane (Wagner) Krueger, with whom he celebrated 38 years of marriage. Born in Reading, PA, he was the son of the late Frederick C. and Dorothy Marie (Pottieger) Krueger. Scott graduated from Exeter Senior High School in 1974. He attended Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, MI, where he studied automotive mechanics. Scott was the owner of Kruegers Automotive Service Incorporated for 41 years until retiring in 2024.
In addition to his wife, Scott is survived by his daughters, Allison K. Weller, wife of Zack Weller, and Tara Lynn Schaeffer, wife of Scott Schaeffer. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Corey, Kyle, Cameron, Emily, John, Macey, Quinn, Colin, Brady, and Kenna, as well as his brother William C. Krueger (Barbara), of Midland, MI, and sister JoAnne Malafarina (Thomas), of Wernersville, PA and his sister-in-law Kathie Krueger, of Petersburg, KY. Scott was preceded in death by his brother David N. Krueger.
Scott enjoyed taking care of his customer's cars, walking, and had a love for animals.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Perkiomen Avenue, Reading, PA 19606. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Road, Birdsboro, PA 19508. Lutz Funeral Home, Inc., has been entrusted with arrangements.
