Mary and Blake,
I just now learned of Scott's tragic passing. I was honored and privileged to have been a part of his life. A great guy. One of the absolute best. I remember him always greeting me "Hey TR!" along with that big smile of his.
I just can't believe it. My thoughts are with you both. I will always, always cherish my memories of Scott and the entire Landa family.

I am so sorry to have heard about the passing of a very great man, Scott. I grew up with him in Barrington. He came to all my birthday parties beginning in Kindergarten. He was so very genuine and so nice. My mother recently passed of the same type of cancer on 12/27/08. what a horrible thing to have gone through. I share your pain. My God be with you and your family during this time and always. God Bless

My prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. I was a long time Tower Lakes resident but during that time I did not know you. then one day I went to a real estate closing and while introducing myself to the opposit side of the transaction, I met you and then we each discovered that we were both of Tower Lakes! I took a liking to you and from that moment you were part of my neighborhood experience that I will always remember and even many years down the road from now I will recall.

Dear Mary,
Rob and I have recently connected through Facebook. I know it has been a long time since we have seen or spoken to each other, but I wanted to express my condolences to you on the passing of your husband. From reading the obituary, it appears that he was a very vibrant and active person, and it is very sad that someone of that nature should have their life cut so short. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family, and may God give you the strength to get through this most difficult time.

Dear Landa Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy over Scott's recent passing. I just learned about it. Although you don't know me, I had the pleasure of litigating some cases where Scott was my opposing counsel. During our cases, I always respected him and his work. He was always honest and earned my respect. Although we were on opposing sides, he always handled himself with integrity. I really liked him. Our legal community will miss him.
Best wishes to your family during this difficult time.
