Scott Landry Obituary

Scott Roland Landry, 67, of Amherst, NH, passed away on January 23rd, 2026.

Scott was born and raised in Manchester, NH the son of Alfred & Edna Landry. He grew up with his five siblings and attended Central High School. He was employed by UPS for 40+ years and was a proud member of the Teamsters Union. Scott took great pride working in numerous communities across southern NH during his career at UPS, and became a loved and well known member of those communities he served.

Scott was an avid lover of people. With his characteristically warm and outgoing personality Scott cultivated and maintained an enormous number of meaningful relationships. He loved a good time and was the life of any party he attended, often the last person to leave. Scott was also an active athlete his entire life, spending his spring and summers playing tennis and his winters skiing. Tennis, in particular, was a great love of Scott's and one of the primary ways he built so many deep friendships.

Scott was a caring son, father, brother, and uncle. With the birth of his grandson in May, he enthusiastically stepped into his new role of grandfather, or as he'll be remembered fondly by his family, "Pepere Tuna." Scott was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Edna, his wife Melissa Flint, and his brother Paul Landry. He is survived by his sons Brad Landry, Eric Landry and his wife Mia, and his beloved grandson Beau. Other surviving family members include his sister Irene Sherbuda and her husband Vic, his sister Nancy Milligan, his brother David Landry and his wife Connie, his brother John Landry and his wife Elizabeth, as well as his many loved nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Visiting hours will be Thursday, 2/12 from 4pm-7pm at Lambert Funeral Home, 1799 Elm St., Manchester. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, 2/13 at 10am at St. Raphael Parish, 103 Walker St., Manchester. A celebration of Scott's life will follow at Stark Brewing Company, 500 N. Commercial St., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Manchester or the Animal Rescue League of New Hampshire.

When I was 10, Scott delivered packages to all of us Amherst kids growing up. He never just dropped and ran-he´d challenge us to a quick game of basketball, dunk on our makeshift hoop, or stop to play with us for a few minutes. Even then, he showed up with joy.

Years later, when I was 18-22, I worked for Scott as his UPS winter helper between school sessions. We had so much fun delivering packages-him teaching me how to drive the UPS truck while he napped on the couch at Basket Barn during lunch breaks. We laughed constantly.

Scott and Melissa welcomed me into their lives, and I miss them both dearly. Scott had an infectious laugh and a way of making everything lighter. I hope he´s up there laughing, cracking jokes, and getting in some good tennis matches.

The last time I talked with him, about a year ago, we laughed just like always. He was truly one of a kind-someone who took life seriously, but also knew how to maximize the time he had and fully love life. I´m a better person because of Scott.

For now, I´ll try to do more "Scott things" in my own life-and have a good time doing them. Thanks for all the love, Scott. Enjoy the ride.

Scott was a great and dear friend. I am shocked and saddened by his passing. It is very difficult to think of him not being around anymore. I had him as a student at Central high school, I coached him in Tennis and remained a close friend the rest of his life. I will miss him dearly. May he rest in peace.
