Scott Licht, 61 of Chicago passed away peacefully at his home on November 28, 2024. He was born on May 28th, 1963 in Chicago, and was the son of Arthur and Marian Licht. He was preceded in death by the one true love of his life and best friend, Ginny, who passed away on July 9th, 2020.
Scott was a lifelong resident of Chicago and a 1981 graduate of Weber High School. He was a loving farther, grandfather, and a diehard bears and cubs fan. He was a devoted ComEd employee for just over 35 years, retiring in 2024.
Scott is survived by his two children, Amanda; Steve( Katie); grandchildren Alazea Bella and Faith Neveah; One brother, Steve Licht, and one sister Geri Brynoarski.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th, 2024 from 1pm to 5pm at the Pietryka Funeral Home, 5734 W. Diversey Ave, Chicago, 60639, followed by pizza at Newbe’s Sports Bar and Grill, 7620 W. Irving Park Road, Norridge, 60706 at 5:30.
Funeral Mass will be on Monday December 9th, 2024, 11:00 AM at Our Lady Of Grace Catholic Church, 2450 N. Ridgeway Ave, Chicago, 60647
