Scott Meyer

Scott Meyer, 70, of Brasstown, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2025 at his residence. He was a native of California who loved surfing. Scott attended Anaheim High School where he excelled in track and field and varsity football. After high school Scott attended Cal State University in Hayward, Calif. where he majored in kinesiology.
Scott met his loving wife of 33 years after being introduced by their mutual hairdresser. They went on to raise their three children in Mission Viejo, Calif. where he worked in metro transit as a track inspector for more than 20 years.
Scott and his wife Jacki retired to Brasstown in 2020. Scott loved the Lord and he and his family attended Calvary Chapel in Murphy. He loved the outdoors and meticulously cared for his garden and would walk his three acres constantly caring for his property, trimming hedges and burning brush. He took great pride in keeping his property in tip top shape.
He was the son of the late Russell and Natalie Meyer.
Surviving are his wife Jacki and three sons; Austin Russell Meyer, Samuel Scott Meyer, Grant William Meyer and wife, Alexis; one grandchild, Harrison Samuel Meyer; and lifelong friend, Fred Scheer.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
