My friend Scott. I felt it on my heart to look you up today after so long, and I'm glad I did. We served together in the Navy in England, and although I hadn't seen him in 20 years, I'm heartbroken today. I hold dear the many memories we share, now more than ever. My sympathies to your family and loved ones as well. When I see you again, I'm buying the sodas and the snacks.

Scott Nason, he is and always will be one of the kindest people I know. He has personally positively affected my life. I walked into his club with shyness and fear. I left feeling comfortable and understood. That was the first big step that guided me through to the place I´ve ended up today. I will always think of Scott aa that person with a smile that could light up the world. And now he is one the many stars in the skies. Something everyone in the world can appreciate.

Scott was one of my best friends in Jr High and high school. We did go to LSSU and worked at Parker's Hardware until I left the Soo to join the Navy. I will always remember the fun times we had going to Greyhound games, and hanging out. I stayed at his parents place, for a few weeks before I joined the Navy. We would sit in his room listening to music he liked, (he had a pretty different taste in music), play floor hockey with these toy hockey sticks and a ball, or watch Goodfellas, or The Godfather. The last time I saw him I was home on leave after bootcamp.
Since learning of what happened, I have been thinking back and smiling. I have shed many a tear, and asked why. But I know I will never know the answers. Having experience with loss over the years, I know that the pain never goes fully away. I can only pray that whatever Scott was going through, he has found peace in the arms of a loving God.
I also pray for the Nason family. That you all may find some comfort. I will miss my friend Scott.
Eternal rest grant to Scott, oh Lord and may perpetual light shine upon him.
With deepest sympathy.

Oh Scott. So many memories going back to Lincoln School. The only person that talked about politics in grade school. He and I had an on going joke about him being a couple of weeks older than I am. Yup. You are always older. Many more silly stories and inside jokes. Love you my friend.
