Scott Michael O'Brien

Scott Michael O'Brien 1962-2010 CLINTON – Our loving Husband, Son, Father and Papa, unexpectedly passed away at the age of 47, on September 11, 2010. He is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born September 13, 1962 to Armand and Elaine O'Brien in San Diego, CA. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School in 1980, prior to joining the United States Air Force. He married his high school sweetheart, Jana Adams, February 23, 1983 in Minot, ND. After serving and retiring from the Air Force, Scott spent his time at Weber State studying and expressing his artistic talents. He obtained degrees in art, psychology, meteorology, and radiology. He worked at Davis Hospital doing CT scans, because he felt that it was the only true form of art in the medical field. But, mostly, in life, he considered himself an artist and a teacher. His favorite subject to talk about was his twin grandbabies, Colin and Molly. Scott was a member of First Baptist Church of Roy, where he truly enjoyed teaching Sunday school. Survived by his wife of 27 years, Jana, son Sean (Amanda), daughter Erin, two precious grandbabies Colin and Molly, mother Elaine, brother Dale (Mary), Multiple in-laws, nieces, nephews and many loving friends. Preceded in death by his father, Armand. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Roy, 2025 West 5700 South, Roy, Utah. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Pregnancy Care Center of Ogden, 2909 Washington Blvd. Ogden, Utah 84401 would be appreciated. Cremation under the direction of Myers Roy Mortuary.
