Scott Anthony Prindes

Scott Anthony Prindes was born June 16, 1950, passed away peacefully February 21, 2024.
Scott was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Loyola Academy in 1968. He earned a bachelor's from Drake University. At the end of his military duties, he was stationed at Goodfellow AFB and decided to make San Angelo his home. He enrolled at Angelo State University earning a second bachelor's degree and master's Degree. Scott later worked for Angelo State until retirement.
A Visitation will be held at Harper Funeral Home from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 25, 2024. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Cathedral at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 26, 2024, with burial to follow at Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
He was married to Barbara Menn on March 19th, 2000. They had almost 24 wonderful years together. They enjoyed a lot of laughter, love, and togetherness.
Scott is survived by wife Barbara, brother Mark and wife Colleen, daughter Jennifer Hughbanks, daughter Heather Winans and husband Chris. Scott also had five grandchildren Matthew, Dakota, Amber, Brayden, and Bryce. New to our family is great grandson, Miles.
The family would like to thank all the loving, caring, compassionate employees at The Springs Memory Care facility. Also Dr. Frolano, for the love and caring she has shown the family. The family also wants to thank Genvita Hospice for the above and beyond care and love they have shown the family during this journey.
