Scott D. "Scooter" Raymond, 65, formerly of Haverhill, passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025, at his daughter's residence, surrounded by his loving family after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer.
He was born in Haverhill on June 25, 1960, son of the Late Joseph J. and Eleanor M. (Perreault) Raymond.
Scott was educated in the Haverhill School System and graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1978. He worked various jobs starting at Lucent Technologies, then Frito Lay, Pella, and later as a warehouse operator for Kenco before his passing.
He enjoyed spending his summers at Coldsprings Campground in Weare NH, where he was surrounded by the loving company of many friends and family. He was an expert cribbage, shuffle board, and poker player. His skills in cribbage and shuffle board were beyond reproach. He mastered the art of winning, and always made it known when he took home first place. He had a robust palate, appreciating the majority of food especially seafood and lobster. He had a love for classic rock, including Queen, Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osborn, Pink Floyd, and the Beatles, with his epic CD hits that have been passed to his children.
He cherished the time he had with his family. From spending his football Sundays watching the Patriots with his son, lunch dates at diners with his daughter, to embracing the summer at camp with his wife. But most importantly he loved being a loving husband to his wife, a proud father to his children, and the best "Papa" to his four grandchildren.
Scott is survived by his loving wife, Kelley Doucette of Salem, NH, his children Matthew Raymond and his wife Janelle of Chester, NH, and Siobhan Raymond and her partner Christopher Wood of Dracut, as well as a stepson James Carney and his wife Renee of Salem, NH, his siblings Wayne and his wife Trish, Michael and his wife Tami, Daniel and his partner Missy, and Donna Raymond. He was the loving Papa to Kylie, Lucille, Adeline, and Evelyn. He also leaves behind his dogs: Scout, Riley, and Willow. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Debra Raymond.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 4-6 PM in the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., Bradford. His funeral service will follow at the funeral home.
