Hi, I am the neighbor directly to the south of his house. Ever since I moved in he was always friendly and smiling and we had some funny conversations. I brought him a Thanksgiving dinner during the pandemic and he brought me a big dinner during my 9 month of pregnancy. My husband and our other neighbor John, they all worked together to remove snow and mow grass. He had a gigantic heart and a great soul. My condolences to his daughters, I lost my dad tragically and I know how hard this can be and trust me. Time and understanding that grief takes time. Everything will come together as you get a chance to understand that grief takes so much time and energy. Your dad has been given the best life ever now in heaven, watching and listening and laughing with you. He will forever be watching. He´s not gone he´s just watching over you now. Continue to talk to him and tell him how much you love him. He´s listening.....
If you need anything we are right next door and both of us have lost our fathers so it´s not anything we can not help you with in this process.
Our door and hands and hearts are always open for you and your family.
Stay strong, he loves you so much! very deeply and always!!!
