Scott L. Udell, age 49, of Clifton, Virginia, passed away on September 19, 2025. He is survived by his loving parents Norm and Sue Udell; sister Kim; brother-in-law Chuck; and his niece and nephew, Ella and Collin Koerber.

Scott was born in 1976 in Annapolis, Maryland. He grew up in Springfield, Virginia, and graduated from West Springfield High School in 1994. He dedicated over 25 years to his profession as a Survey Technician and Program Manager at Bohler Engineering.

Scott was admired for his kindness and was always ready to lend a hand. A devoted son, he never missed a Thanksgiving holiday with his parents in Florida or a Christmas gathering with his family in Virginia. He truly embodied the phrase "work hard, play hard." As an adventurous spirit, Scott spent countless weekends creating unforgettable memories with his lifelong friends-whether it was golfing, mountain biking, rock climbing Devil's Tower, or watching football games. He had a passion for boating and fishing and always enjoyed spending time on the water. He cherished these moments shared with family and friends.

A celebration of his life will take place on Sunday, October 5, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, located at 9902 Braddock Rd., Fairfax, VA. Family and friends are invited to come and share your memories and stories of the time spent with Scott.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a charitable contribution to the Alzheimer's Association in Scott's honor.
