Scott A. Youngerman Sr., age 68, of Dayton, passed away on June 27, 2024. He was born on June 10, 1956 to the late Arden & Rosalyn Youngerman. He was a true outdoorsman, and spent most of his time deer hunting or fishing. He also enjoyed watching or playing sports, and his favorite teams were the Denver Broncos and the NY Mets. However, spending time with his family meant the most to him. He loved being with them every chance he could get.
In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Youngerman; his brothers: Danny J. Youngerman, Terry L. Youngerman, and Arden J. Youngerman Jr.; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Left to cherish his memory, his beloved wife, whom he was with for 48 years, Marilyn Youngerman; his sons: Scott (Farrah) Youngerman Jr. and Michael (Amy) Youngerman; grandchildren: Halle, Jeremy (Brittany), and Cheyanne (Trevor), and Amayah; seven great-grandchildren; cousin & bonus brother, Rich Youngerman, and many more family and friends.
A visitation will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, in Dayton, where the service will begin at 1:30pm. Following the service, Scott will be laid to rest at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's memories may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
