Scotty D. Spruill Jr.

Scotty Spruill, 20, of Southampton New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt Holly, NJ.
Born in Somers Point, New Jersey, Scotty resided in Southampton, NJ most of his life. He was a graduate of Seneca High School and a junior at Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida, studying sustainable entrepreneurship. Scotty loved playing sports including soccer, surfing, skiing, motocross, baseball, golf, skateboarding, and more. He also had a passion for nature and music. Words simply cannot describe the amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend he was to all of us. Words also cannot describe his sense of humor. The people who knew him know exactly what we mean.
Scotty is survived by his loving father, Scott Spruill; sisters, Brooke Spruill and Ava Spruill; mother, Kimberly Spruill; stepmother, Mary Mcilvaine; grandmothers, Elizabeth Haff and Patricia Harms; grandfather, Stephen Harms Sr., uncles, Rick Spruill, Artie Echarte, and Stephen Harms Jr.; aunts Kelly Spruill, Susan Echarte, and Melissa Liggett; and cousins, Kelly Stauffer, Paige Wagner, Madison Brawner, Joey Lynch, and Melissa Smith.
A viewing will be from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, on Friday, January 14, 2022, at Mathis Funeral Home, 58 North Main Street Medford, NJ. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 PM, or when condolences are concluded.
Interment will be held in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ, after the funeral service.
