Scotty Lamar Winkler Jr.

I knew Scotty when we were children. I used to spend part of my summers with my grandparents (the late Emmons Walton and Lettie Gamble Walton)and attended Crooked Creek Christian Church with them. My parents (the late Aaron Abner, Jr and Irma Jean Walton Abner) also knew his parents. They all went to grade school together and were taught by Lydia Winkler. Scotty was fun to play with in the church yard after church. There were quite a few of us that enjoyed playing as youngsters do after church. He was alway polite on the school bus. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
