Sead Hovic Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory - R. Lee Williams Chapel on Jan. 10, 2026.
With great sorrow and heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved Sead "Kicho" Hovic, who passed away in the early morning hours of January 7, 2026, at the age of 73.

Sead is survived by his wife Mirsada, son Mustafa, daughter Irma, granddaughter Mia, his brothers Hashko, Suad, Elvir, as well as extended Hovich, Sejdich and Milanovich family.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Saturday, January 10, at 10:45 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Casselberry All Faiths Memorial Park, located at 1390 Park Dr, Casselberry, FL 32707.

Sead exemplified the essence of a true fighter, demonstrating remarkable resilience over a decade-long struggle against various health issues. With unwavering strength and determination, he confronted each challenge that came his way, embodying a spirit of courage that inspired those around him. Unfortunately, after enduring a prolonged and arduous journey, he ultimately succumbed to his battles, leaving behind a legacy of bravery and perseverance.

Beyond his tenacity, Sead possessed a serene and gentle demeanor that endeared him to many. He had an innate ability to make others feel welcomed and cherished, often extending his kindness and support even before it was requested. His mere presence radiated warmth and reassurance, providing solace to those fortunate enough to know him, and ensuring that everyone felt acknowledged and valued in his company.

He was deeply admired for his gentle nature and the warmth he radiated, effortlessly uniting those around him and winning the hearts of everyone he met. Music held a special place in his life; as a gifted drummer and vocalist, he possessed a remarkable talent for lifting the spirits of many through his art.

He approached life with enthusiasm, creating new friendships and maintaining a cheerful demeanor, even in the face of adversity. We find solace in the knowledge that he has attained peace, reunited with his siblings, parents, and countless family members who had departed before him.

His spirit will continue to echo in the songs we cherish and will remain forever imprinted in our memories.
