With deep sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Sean Warren Abram, age 50, of Espanola, New Mexico.
Sean passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2025. Born in Los Alamos, New Mexico, Sean was the beloved son of Ronnie Abram (Patricia) and Veronica Garcia, who both survive him. Preceded in death by grandparents Hermino and Ruth Garcia and Mariano and Inez Garcia; uncle Fermin Garcia and aunt Sandra Garcia.
He was a strong and hardworking man who lived life on his own terms, giving his all to everything he did. Sean devoted much of his life to carpentry and construction, where his skill, dedication, and pride in his work could be seen in every project he touched. He found joy in working with his hands and took pride in a job well done. During his high school years, Sean was a standout athlete and earned the title of state champion wrestler—a testament to his determination, strength, and discipline. That same spirit carried him through every chapter of his life. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but also for his loyalty, sense of humor, and readiness to help others. Sean possessed a quiet strength and a generous heart that left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Sean is survived by his cherished children, Shanee Martinez and Warren Abram; his siblings, JoeRay (Wife LaTasha, Children Alize, Dredennis), James (Wife Raelynn, Children Karlee), Renee (Husband Robert, Children Donovan), and Frances (Husband Billy, Children Auburn), Aunt Berna (Ivan), Aunt Christella, Aunt Maria, Aunt Christie and Uncle Mark (Francine), Aunt Marie Garcia (Bobby) as well as many other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.
A public visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at 5:30p.m. at Devargas Funeral Home in the Sange de Cristo Chapel followed by a rosary at 6:00 pm. A Mass will take place on August 19, 2025, Tuesday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Nambe at 10:00 a.m. and burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Nambe, NM.
All are welcome to attend and be held on honor the life of a man who gave so much and left us far too soon. Though his passing was unexpected, Sean’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be remembered always—for his strength, his spirit, and the love he so freely gave.
Though his passing was unexpected. Sean's memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who loved him. He touched our lives deeply with his strength, unbreakable spirit, and warm smile.
