Please accept my condolences on the passing of my old training buddy, of which I just learned from reading the local Bar magazine. The "50 by 8" Club was a Saturday morning ritual that made the combat of the preceding week bearable. His gift of gab never let up even when our legs were about to. Godspeed. LVC

Sean was the consummate professional and a gentle man. He spent countless hours serving the Bench and Bar in serving on numerous commissions, boards and committees. We will all miss his dry wit and warm smile. Prayers for the Hunt family during this difficult time.

Sean Hunt was this pressed and polished lawyer who just arrived to work at an 80 Monroe Avenue office nearby. Sean was quick to laugh big, cut his eyes at an outrageous position, and be an ally talking through legal issues or lawyering tactics. Sean was an obvious devoted husband and father. When David was playing soccer at the JCC, Clarice and Aaron arrived at the start of the practice or game and Sean would show up, in the full skintight triathlon suit, to play with Aaron and cheer on David and the whole team. Sean was an astute business owner; always prepared, persuasive, and personable. Sean was sincere in his interest in being a good friend, playing hard, and playing fair. We are lucky to carry a bit of Sean Antone Hunt´s greatness into the future.

Clarice, Aaron and David,
We are so sorry for your loss. There are no words that can heal the pain that you are feeling now, but know that your husband, Clarice, and your father, Aaron and David, will always be with you in your heart and in your memory. We saw him as a strong father who always wanted the best for his sons and was willing to learn just what that was so he could do his ultimate best to provide that. He has passed and left this earth but he will never leave you, his family. Please accept our deepest condolences and know that we are thinking of you!
Your boys´ fifth grade team,
Gary, Lynn, Kathy, and Kathleen

Clarice, David and Aaron:
My husband Buddy Bernstein and I retired from law practice and moved away from Memphis several years ago. However, we were just speaking recently about Sean in the context of running. Back in the day, Sean and I shared many Saturday mornings with our running group tramping over Shelby farms. We trained for several half marathons and marathons, including the 2005 Nashville Marathon. In that race, I intended to finish just the half marathon, but Sean ran with me the entire length of the course, such that I was able to complete my first marathon ever. Sean was an inspiration to me and to so many others. Sean always had a smile on his face, and constantly encouraged less talented runners, me included.
Sometime later, when I was no longer able to run long distances, I found my friend Sean in the lane next to me at the JCC, swimming laps and inspiring everyone to do better. Sean enthusiastically took to the water as he took to the road.
As attorneys, Buddy and I were aware of Sean's many activities undertaken to assist other attorneys. Buddy was happy to work with Sean when Sean invited Buddy to be a speaker at a seminar on law firm management. As owners of our own firm, we felt a kindred spirit with Sean, as owner of his own firm.
We are incredibly saddened by Sean's death. We met Clarice and the boys only on the sidelines of races, but feel that Sean's incredible spirit will will keep and sustain them. May his memory be a blessing.

Clarice, It is so easy to conjure up an image of Sean running down Poplar Pike. I was always inspired to see him frequently. Knowing him through our longstanding connection to Aaron, David through Lausanne, I am just so sorry to learn of his passing. I pray for strength and support in the coming days. May God wrap you in His arms and provide the care and comfort you need to get through this sad time.

It was such sad news to hear of his passing. He was a well of inspiration to many over the years with his faith, love of his family, insight and knowledge, involvement with community and charities. Praying for comfort and peace for the family. May the Lord lift you from the grief and shine his light on the love and memories you shared.

I was so shocked to hear this news. Sean was an interesting, intelligent and vibrant man I had become familiar with through teaching Aaron and David, and had subsequently become an acquaintance with, as we periodically ran into each other around town. All I can say is that my condolences go out to the whole family and I appreciate the weight of your loss. Please know that many are thinking of you in this tough time.

Clarice -- We are so saddened to learn about Sean's passing while in the prime of his life. We admired him especially as a parent who helped you raise two wonderful sons and his athletic focus as a triathlete (and I have no doubt he was a great husband and partner.) These are memories we will always keep.
We send your our prayers and will keep him in our hearts. God bless your family.
