It’s been years for me to have the courage to come forward but I am coming forward. I was one of the last people to see your son Sean. I am a survivor of WTC. There are no words to express the sorrow or expression of condolences of the tremendous loss the family has felt over the years. Sean was a wonderful individual. Feel free to reach out to me and I will communicate privately to the family of Sean. God speed.

I met Sean my freshman year at Boston College. We lived off campus in an the same apartment building. Not too many freshman lived off campus, so we had an immediate bond. We got to know each other well during this year.

We said a family Rosary for Sean and all those who died in this horrific attack.

May God bless you Sean.

I received a wrist band with Sean's name to commemorate the day Americans will never forget. In reading about Sean, I find myself drawn back to those moments when we all stared in disbelief at what was happening.

As the mother of sons, I can imagine the pain and loss you must feel. Please know that I will be praying for your family. May God bless you all and give you strength thru His love.

Sean-I know your family is hurting so but here is what he would say to you as this moment-

WHEN I MUST LEAVE YOU

When I must leave you for a little while - please do not grieve and shed wild tears and hug your sorrow to you through the years, but start out bravely with a gallant smile; and for my sake and in my name live on and do all things the same. Feed not your loneliness on empty days, but fill each waking hour in useful ways. Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer and I in turn will comfort you and hold you near; and never, never be afraid to die, for I am waiting for you in the sky. Helen Steiner Rice

REST IN PEACE..

I knew Sean when we were in grade school together at the Huckleberry Hill School .We used to play a very organized game of kickball , using the teams picked at the beginning of the school year throughout that year.Sean used to be one of the kids who organized the teams for the year and was one of the best players. He was also on my Pop Warner football team.I remember one game he had to chase down a player to prevent a touchdown,we all thought the kid would score, but Sean got him at about the 5 yardline (he was pretty fast). I think he broke his wrist on that play and we lost him for the rest of the season. I remember him to be very smart and put together, and worked to succeed at whatever he did. I have a son now and I can't imagine the sorrow his family feels, especially for someone who worked so hard at being succesful at everything to be taken in such a cowardly and senseless way. My thoughts and prayers are with his family always.

I met Sean through Mike and Ann about ten years ago.He was quiet and shy, contemplating his move to New York. Shortly after ,he celebrated Thanksgiving at my parents house (his brother's in-laws). He had begun his new career and stayed in New York for the holiday. Over the course of the years, I would run into Sean in the city. He always had a huge smile for me. We would start talking and inevitably start laughing. Sean had thrived in New York and he was one of those people I simply loved to see.

In August, I saw Sean for the first time in over a year. He was telling me how proud he was of the neices and nephew we had in common as well as all the little ones at home in Boston. He told me about the incredible efforts he made to see his neice's piano recital in Manhattan. I was impressed with his commitment. I am sad those special encounters are gone. I know Sean is missed greatly by his family and friends.

My condolences to the Lynch family and all of his friends.

God Bless Sean.

Sean always looked happy when I would see him. I met him through my friend Dave M. and only had the chance to know him about a year. He and I always talked about running and how it killed our feet. We would laugh about it and ironically on Sept 9th I saw Sean jogging in the park. That is my last image in my head of Sean. It was a happy one as he loved to jog. I lost family in the twa 800 plane crash and can only begin to imagine the pain and suffering that you are enduring. I know that God has only given us as much as we can handle but sometimes it does seem to be a lot. I know that Sean it looking down on his family with fond memories. God Bless you all.

We are very sorry for your loss of Sean. Our hearts cry with you.

America Cries

We see your sorrow-

and our hearts cry....

We can not erase your pain

but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-

-the American people-

are beside you.

We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,

the strength that gives you courage,

and the words to lighten your spirits.

And when we are left speechless

may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts

to ease your sorrow.

May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-

-the American people-

face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn

I met Sean back in 1986 when he was a Freshman at BC. I remember him as a quiet, unassuming, jokester with sandy blond hair and a great jump shot. I heard he was taken from us on Sept. 11th and these memories came back in an instant. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. God bless you all.
