Sean Michael Maguire was born July 13, 1978 in St. Louis, Missouri, to William Robert Maguire and Mary Margaret Herbet Maguire. Sean graduated from high school in St. Peters, Missouri and went on to attend college in St. Louis. In 2013, Sean moved from Oklahoma to Breckenridge, Texas. Sean was self-employed as a software programmer and server administrator and enjoyed watching movies and gaming. Sean was preceded in death by her father, William Robert Maguire and grandparents.
Sean is survived by significant other, Dane Smith of Breckenridge, Texas; mother, Mary Knight of Port Charlotte, Florida; and brother, Ryan Maguire of Roseville, California.

Sean and I met through Second Life in 2009. In time we both drifted away from the virtual world, but never from each other. Sean was there for me all these years, an amazing friend I could always count on. Sean had such a kind heart and was incredibly smart; truly heartbreaking to have her taken so soon. Her light will forever shine through my memories of her. I love you, friend.
