Sean McAteer Obituary
Sean Patrick McAteer, 56, passed away July 16, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. He was born December 30, 1967, in Media, PA. He grew up in Broomall, PA.
He attended St. Anastasia Catholic Church and Marple Newtown High School in Newtown Square, PA. He worked in Baltimore, MD in Direct Marketing, then came to Jacksonville, FL to work for Harte-Hanks. Sean was working from home for Regional Finance based in Greenville, SC.
He is survived by a brother, Kevin McAteer (Karen); sister, Susan DeSanto (Danny); sister, Rosemary McAteer; niece, Jennifer Kudlajev; niece, Meghan Brunette (Jason); and nephew, Bill McAteer (Amy). He was predeceased by brother, William McAteer.
Sean’s generous spirit and caring personality will be missed by all who loved him. He was proud of his Irish heritage.
Funeral Services will be at Quinn-Shalz Family Funeral Home, 3600 Third Street South, Jacksonville Beach, FL on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Visitation will start at 2 p.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 3 p.m.
