Sean O’Malley Obituary
He was born in Omaha on November 17,1973. Sean graduated from Father Flanagan High School. He served in United States Navy 1999-2003 in support of Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom.
He was a longtime employee at the Homy Inn and most recently employed by Postal Fleet Services of America.
He was preceded in death by dad; Nelson Griffy III, father; Joseph O'Malley, grandparents; Francis R. Sima Jr., Robert and Marie O'Malley, sister; Paris Griffy.
Sean is survived by his mother, Colleen O'Malley-Griffy; grandmother, Jean Sima; uncle, Christopher Sima and siblings, Brandi (Andre) Tarpley, Jackie (Irvin) Harris, Diane Griffy-Goodwin, Monica Lewis, Rochelle Griffy, Nichelle Griffy, Nelson (Amanda) Griffy, Maydee Griffy, Daejanae Griffy and Leah Cristianson and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 8th at Roeder Mortuary, 4932 Ames Ave.
Memorial Service: 8:30 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 also at the mortuary.
Inurnment: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2021 Omaha National Cemetery.
