Obituary of Sean Gregory Smith
Sean Gregory Smith, 49, of Mahopac, New York, passed away on June 15th, 2024.
Sean Gregory Smith was born on June 27th, 1974 to Earl and Karen (Pratt) Smith in Peekskill, NY. After graduating from Walter Panas High School in 1994, he went on to pursue a career in the automotive industry.
Sean resided in Mahopac, NY for the last 17 years with his wife, Hollie Smith. They did live in Putnam Valley for a short time in between.
Sean is survived by his wife, Hollie Smith; his father, Earl Smith; his step-mother, Michele Smith; his sister Shannon Smith; his brother Michael Smith; his sister-in-law, Erica Smith; his nephew, Hudson Smith and predeceased by his mother, Karen McDonald.
Sean worked at Yorktown Auto Body Shop in Yorktown Heights, NY as an estimator. He also worked for Advance Auto Parts and was the commercial and retail parts pro associate.
He was a good person with such a good heart and he loved animals. He was always willing to lend a hand to a neighbor or friend in need. He loved his dogs, especially Bacon Bit Smith. He would always take him on trips to go fishing. His favorite pastimes were NASCAR, fishing, hunting, gardening, and cooking. He really enjoyed cooking for his family. He would grow his own fruits and vegetables, along with flowers and herbs.
Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Friday, June 28, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Chapel Service will be held at the United Methodist Church of Shrub Oak on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 11:00 am
A private cremation will follow and Sean will be buried with Hollie's family.
