Sebastian "Ty" Tyrese Husted, lifelong resident of Centerville, who went missing in January of 2018 at the age of 18, was unfortunately found passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in Mercer County, Missouri.
Ty was born on May 18, 1999 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Leslie Shannon Moriarty and Rebecca Lynn Husted.
Ty was a people person, who was always socializing with anyone around him. He enjoyed everything outdoors, including fishing, hunting, camping and archery. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family, and was very happy to be able to feel his son, Kendrick kick in his mom's belly.
Left to honor Ty's memory are his son, Kendrick Husted; his mother, Rebecca (Danny) Scott; his father, Leslie (Heather) Moriarty; his siblings, Jordan Davis, Lucy (Don) Long, Iesha Husted, Elizabeth Moriarty, Tim Moriarty (Jessica O'Hair), Malcolm Husted, and Austin (Cierra) Scott; his grandma, Bonnie Rhoades; as well as several extended family and friends.
Ty was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Joe Wright; his grandmother, Patsy Nelson; and his niece, Tristan Jordan Husted.
Per wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at the Moravia Community Center on the square in Moravia for a time to share memories and have lunch together. Memorials may be made to the family of Sebastian Husted, to be used for his son, Kendrick, and may be mailed to Thomas Funeral Home, ATTN: Husted Family, 501 North 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
