, Funeral services for Sebastian Morris, 11, of Sterlington, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 8, 2025, at North Monroe Baptist Church in the West Venue with Rev. Ben Hackler officiating. Interment will be in Burton Cemetery in Sterlington, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, March 7, 2025, at North Monroe Baptist Church.
Sebastian was born on October 10, 2013, in Monroe, LA, and passed away on March 3, 2025, in Shreveport, LA.
Sebastian was always the life of the party and lit up the room wherever he was. He was always the first to offer help to others, young and old. Incredible son, grandson, brother, cousin, and friend to all of those around him. The passion he had would have made him successful in any career he chose. Sebastian loved farming, outdoors, baseball, basketball, hunting and fishing. He also had a love for the Lord.
Sebastian was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Carla Pintarelli Morris; maternal great grandparents, Johnnie Follis; and Cleveland and Lula Mae Johnson.
Survivors include his mother, Crystal Johnson and her partner Brian Thomas; father, Nikolaj Morris and stepmother, Lindsey Morris; brothers, Talon Strother, Logan Freeland, and Luca Morris; stepbrothers, Jacob Thomas and Chase Andersen, Blake Posey and Parker Posey; stepsister, Emma Andersen; paternal grandfather, Elmore Morris, Jr.; maternal grandparents, Clifton and Amanda Johnson, Debbie and Rodney Cockerham, Eddie and Martha Patterson, and Toni Williams; aunts and uncles, Nadia Morris and partner Bunty Patel, Natosha Wilson, Steven Stevenson and partner Reshari Ramsey, Christopher Chandler, Darren and Jennifer Thomas, Justin Cockerham, Lauren Cockerham, Jay Thomas, and Angela Allen; along with numerous cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Nikolaj Morris, Talon Strother, Brian Thomas, Chris Stanton, Darren Thomas, Steven Stevenson, and Logan Freeland.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Organ Procurement Association (LOPA) or to any Suicide Prevention Organization.
