Seretha Marietta Scoville Cramer "Mary"

Seretha Marietta Scoville Cramer "Mary", 100, of Grand Island, peacefully left on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at beginning at All Faiths Funeral Home and concluding at Grand Island City Cemetery. Dan Naranjo will officiate.

All Faiths Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. Memorials are suggested to an amazing animal sanctuary and shelter that so graciously rescued Mary's kitties when she could no longer care for them: Cara's Animal House, 1609 E. 26th Road, Marquette, NE 68854.

Mary was born on September 23, 1925, on Maple Tree Road in Lubec, Maine, daughter of Burton and Josie (Campbell) Scoville. She embraced a life filled with love, adventure and kindness. Mary was raised alongside the ocean in Lubec, Maine, Mary was the youngest and the one full of a zest for life. A classy lady, she became to be and sparkled every day. She married "Bert" Cramer in 1945. Her path in life took her from Lubec, Main, to Portland, Maine, and on to Nebraska where she resided for over 80 years.

Texting became her lifeline and connection to her family. Mary loved the outdoors and feeding the birds and squirrels. When asked what her secret to a long life, Mary answered, "blueberries." "Ate them every day, Papa grew them" and the "brisk salty air of the ocean." Mary was so proud of her family.

She is survived by her children, Pam (Bill) Sundermeier, Cindy Schatz and Dave Nolta, Jim (Connie) Cramer, and Bruce (Denise) Cramer; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Seretha was preceded in death by her special friend, Wayne Vanosdall; parents, sons, Steve Cramer, and Bert Cramer; brothers, Rodney and Albert; and sister, Lura.
