It is with great sadness that the family of Setsuko Gill announces her passing on November 3rd , 2025, one month to the day of her 91st birthday. Setsuko was born on December 3rd, 1934 in Yoron, Japan.
Setsuko was the wife of the late James R. Gill and mother of the late Lillany, James and Caroline. She is survived by her son Christopher Gill, Ida (Gill) and husband Bob Druge, daughter Cathy and husband Russell Walker, and daughter in law Roberta Gill. She was the grandmother of Nicole (Gill) and husband Rich Picorelli, Michelle (Gill) and husband Dave Mullett; Angela (Gill) and husband Ian Gorden, Holly, Mike Lefebvre and Colleen and Jesse Gibson, and great-grandmother of Rachel, Jesse Ava, Jameson and Joseph and Lilly.
Setsuko worked at the former Montrath Center in Groton as a CNA for over 40 years, retiring at age 77. She loved going to the Pepperell Senior Center.
A private service will be held.
Arrangements are entrusted to McGaffigan Funeral Home, Pepperell.
