We want to share our deepest condolences to the entire Sutton family. We are sending immeasurable love, prayers, strength and thoughts during this time and always. We are also honored to make a donation to the Denver Dumb Friend's League in Devon's honor.

I´ll miss him, as a childhood friend through to adulthood. Colorado will not be the same for me without him. Please don´t hesitate to reach out.

Shad and Tina,
I'm was so heartbroken to learn about Devon. While I never met him in person, I feel like I have watched him grow up over the years through our many conversations about our children. As a parent, I share in your grief. I know that nothing I can say to you will ease your pain and pray that somehow, someway, peace will eventually find you.

Hello,

I was one of Shad's Academic Advisors at MSU Denver. My deepest, sincerest condolences. Shad emailed me on November 5th about concerns around withdrawing from courses. It was already the end of the day and I didn't see his email until the next week. I feel just absolutely terrible about this and concerned. My thoughts and prayers are with your family and loved ones.

I also had the fortune of working with Devon last spring at MSU Denver as he trained to teach History. He was a remarkably dedicated student in our class, even joining our online video conferences from the hospital. Devon's curiosity and passion for History were inspiring. His passing means a great loss to the profession. My deepest sympathies to family and friends.

I supported Devon in his last year in his desire to become a social studies teacher. I am devastated to learn of this news and the incredible loss to our profession. His passion, strength, and persistence were inspiring to me and his peers. Sending my condolences to you and your family.
