Entered into rest on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, Shakira Deneise Williams, 18.
Shakira was a beautiful person who had a smile that would light up any room. She was baptized on October 6, 2024 and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior. Shakira was a talented artist who could draw, paint and worked with clay sculpting. Like most individuals her age, watching anime was a favorite pastime of hers. Shakira remained incredibly brave during her battle with cancer, she never once complained.
Family members include her mother: Tschnauvia Williams; brother: Elijah Williams and other loving family members including Eric and Erin Lairsey and their children; Eve, Clara, Ellie and Coleman.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 11:30 A.M. at Grace Baptist Church, Evans, GA with Pastor Eric Lairsey officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 until 11:15 A.M. Burial will be in Waycross, Georgia.
The family would like to thank Shakira’s entire medical and hospice team for their compassionate care.
