Shalako Lance Horton

In loving memory of Shalako Horton, a beloved father, husband, and friend. He was an avid fisherman, and LSU Tigers fan. He had a passion for football and loved Marvel and DC movies, comic books, and their characters (SpiderMan being his favorite). He loved hard, his laugh was contagious (and the loudest) and made everyone he knew smile. He didn't meet a stranger, he always welcomed anyone he met with open arms and a full heart. His knowledge and love for a wide range of topics made him a great conversationalist. He will be deeply missed by his loving family, including his beloved wife (Kimberly Horton), son (Brandon Chandler), his stepchildren (Kayla/Jesse Davis, Samantha/Don Baker, Shae Chandler) and his 7 grandchildren (Milo, Milly, Brantley, Andrew, Adriah, AJ, and Oliver) his mother (Rosalyn Horton), his brother and sister-in-law (Shane/Trin Horton), and his sister (Sundai Horton), along with many other friends and family that loved him so much. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 1pm in the Chapel of Cheatham County Funeral Home. Burial will follow at EverRest of Cheatham in Pleasant View, Tennessee. Visitation will be the same day from 11am until the service hour of 1pm. Serving as pallbearers will be Don Baker, W. D. Donnell, Shane Horton, Brandon Horton, Jesse Davis, and Rob Walls.
