Shanda Campbell Mers, 45, of Bladenboro passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at her home.
Shanda loved her family and her fur baby, Oreo dearly. Some of her best times in life were spent with her family playing board games, taking trips to the beach, going out, and shopping. If she was not with her family, she enjoyed spending a quiet evening at home reading a book, having movie marathons, watching murder mysteries, or crafting. Shanda also enjoyed baking especially trying new recipes for her family. She loved to talk and had a compassionate spirit. She leaves a legacy of beautiful memories of love and laughter in the hearts of all that knew her.
Left to cherish her memory are her mother Wanda Shaw and husband Don Cribb of Bladenboro, daughter, Cali Mers of Fayetteville, two sisters: Rhonda Bryan and husband Billy of Montana and Tonya Ward of Fayetteville, four nephews: Jacob, Bentley, Zayne, Kaleb, niece Faith and great nephew Kingston. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gertrude Singletary and father, Shane Mers.
A Celebration of Shanda’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 11 am at Hickory Grove Baptist Church in Bladenboro with the Reverend Jay Dorman officiating.
