Shandra M. Muscar, 64, of Hepzibah, went to be with her Lord and Savior after a battle with declining health on Thursday, September 25, 2025. She was born April 16, 1961 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Paul J. and Elizabeth J. Boggess Watson.
She is survived by her children, Felicia Posey and her husband Shane of Jane Lew; Christian David Hedrick and his fiancé Makenzie Hardy of Lumberport; Farrah Hedrick of Lumberport; and Reannah Muscar also of Lumberport; her grandchildren, Cameron, Hazley and Aspen Hedrick; Addisyn and Lila Posey; Alexius and Ethan Floyd; Colton Benson and John Wylder Holcomb; her special aunt, Shirley Simmons of Shinnston; and uncle, Donald "Buzz" Watson of Shinnston; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Shandra was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Muscar; sister, Shannon Watson Davis; and brother, Paul Allen Watson.
Shandra was a graduate of Lumberport High School and Fairmont State College. She cared deeply for those she loved and devoted her life to helping others as a caregiver in various ways over the years. Shandra was employed by Fairmont General, Harrison County EMS and Clarksburg Continuous Care. She always had a special way with children and the elderly. Shandra was devoted to her family and would always consider her needs last. Shandra was a devoted Christian and was one of the first official members of Jewel City Church. She enjoyed music of all genres, especially Stevie Nicks and the Eagles.
After the death of her husband and a series of health issues, she shared her final years with her first husband, David Hedrick who cared for her daily.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation services were provided by Perine Funeral Home. There will be no public services. Memories and condolences can be shared with the family at www.perinefunerals.com.
