Shane Allen Bien, of Palatka, Florida was born on February 2, 1984 to Carl Bien Jr. and Charlotte Bettis in Charleston, Missouri and passed away on July 26, 2025 in Palatka, Florida at the age of 41.
Shane had resided in Florida for the last 15 years. He enjoyed art, spending time with and taking care of his dogs and hanging out with friends.
Shane is survived by his parents, Carl (Mary) Bien Jr. and Charlotte (Daniel) Bettis, a son, Laithain Watkins of Dexter, Missouri, a brother, Chandler (Kelsie) Bien, of New London, Missouri and several nieces, nephews and friends who loved him.
Shane was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenda and “Hop” Hopkins and his grandfather, Carl Bien Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, beginning at 4 P.M. at the Sweet Prospect General Baptist Church in Dexter, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to help with final expenses.
