Shane Lemons Obituary
BERLIN –
Shane Russell Lemons, 37, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Shane was born on December 13, 1986 to Susan Herrick of Berlin, NY and the late John Lemons of Troy, NY.
Shane was a fun loving spirit, always on the move and seeking adventure. He had a passion for cooking, camping and fishing. Shane loved to play horseshoes and croquet at family picnics and four wheeling with his siblings. He thrived on being outdoors and had a zest for life. In the summer, you could often find him sitting at a campfire, listening to music and star gazing.
Shane was talented in carpentry and construction. He spent much of his free time finding projects around his house- or a family member's house. He had a hard exterior, but Shane loved his family and friends fiercely.
Shane is survived by his 7 children: Shannon, Shane, Angel, Damien, Isabelle, Jaxson, and Athena; his mother Sue Herrick, his stepfather Roy Herrick; his siblings; John R Lemons II of Berlin, NY, Joshua R Lemons (Amanda Crew) of Hoosick Falls, NY, and Elizabeth Burdick (Richard) of Bennington, VT; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
A private service will be held. At this time, the family wishes to have a closed Celebration of Life in Shane's honor.
