Shane O'Hara McGrew, age 58, passed into the arms of Jesus on Monday, July 24, 2023.
He was born in Pensacola on March 13, 1965. He loved Auburn football, fishing, camping, and spending time with his family. Shane was a devoted brother, uncle, and friend. Shane loved Jesus with his whole heart and will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Richard McGrew, and Mary Louise McGrew.
He is survived by 18 siblings, Ric (Dayan) McGrew, Mike (Patty) McGrew, Pam (Ed) Plant, Scott (Kathy) McGrew, Angel Stacy, Shaun (Duane) McDonal, Kellie (David) Allen, Collette (Brian) Jones, Ty McGrew, Lucas McGrew, Phillip (Lara) McGrew, Tim (Renee) McGrew, Joshua (Kristen) McGrew. Renee McGrew, Caleb McGrew, Mark (Tracy) McGrew, Megan (Drew) Powanda, and Morgan McGrew; one aunt, Marsha Brown, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be at Cottage Hill Baptist Church, 230 Williams Ditch Road Cantonment, Florida 32533, on Monday, July 31, 2023, at 6:30 PM.
