Shane Sumner

Michael Shane Sumner, 37, of Sarepta, Louisiana died Sunday, May 22, 2011 at his home in Sarepta. Shane was born March 2, 1974 in Bossier City, Louisiana and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, the outdoors, and loved his family. He is survived by his daughter, Kylie Anglin, who was very special to her Daddy, of Princeton; mother, Renee Foster Thompson and husband Billy Wayne of Springhill; father, Mike Sumner of Sarepta; brother and best friend, Justin Sumner of Springhill; grandparents, very special grandfather, J.D. “BoBo� and Wilma Foster of Sarepta and Billy and Shirley Delafield of Sarepta; aunt, Cindy Foster of Sarepta; uncle Joe Delafield of Sarepta; cousins, Ashley Harris of Sarepta, Megan Caraway of Goesburg, North Carolina; Mathew Delafield of Sarepta, Corey Delafield of Ashdown, Arkansas, Kenzie Foster of Springhill, and Titan Harris of Sarepta. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerald Taylor of Little Rock, Arkansas officiating. Burial will follow at the Old Sarepta Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Springhill. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Cody Pruitt, Larry Bailey, Jason Hodges, Clint Foster, Cree Foster, and Casey Watson.
