Shane Wingler Obituary

Shane Michael Wingler, 35 of Etters, PA passed away December 1, 2025 at Penn State Holy Spirit, Camp Hill.

Born August 4, 1990 in Lancaster, PA, he was the son of Donald C. Wingler Jr. and Laurie Ann (Hibbard) Wilson, wife of Michael Wilson.

He was a graduate of Penn Manor High School class of 2008.

Shane joined the armed forces after graduating high school and was very proud to serve his country as a United States Marine. He was a devoted Eagles fan and loved playing pool every chance he could. Being a part of the pool community allowed him to meet new people and build many friendships, some to which he later on considered to be a part of his family. Shane also loved playing Pokémon Go and exploring new areas in hopes of catching new Pokémon, often sharing the experience with one of his best friends that quickly became hooked on the game as well. He always said his most cherished accomplishment in life was his beautiful daughter, Zoey.

He is survived by his parents, a daughter Zoey Griffe, sister Tamara Wingler of New Ringgold and half sisters: Shona Davis of South Carolina, Denise Wingler of Maryland and Donna Anderson of Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his half sister Theresa Morris.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Friends and family are invited to express their condolences or share fond memories of Shane on the funeral home website at Griffiths Funeral Homes & Cremation - Tamaqua PA
