Shanelle Wright

In the beauty of a day created by god and forever consumed in time. God blessed the late Claudette Wright and the late Tyrone Page with a precious daughter by the name Shanelle Ollie Wright of She entered into this world on July 12, 1968. Shanelle was educated in the Paterson Public School system. She attended Eastside High School. Shanelle was preceded in death by her son, Shamu Gregory Ali Wright, her mother Claudette Wright, her father, Tyrone Page, two sisters, Eva Yvette Wright, and Kinda Marie Mapes, her grandfathers, Baxter Keys, and Capers Page, Sr. and her grandmother, Ms. Ollie Mae Wright. She departed this life on January 9, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paterson, New Jersey. Shanelle leaves to cherish her memories: her sisters, Nichelle D. Jordan of Paterson, Tonie R. Wright and Lyronna (Smith) Roper of Maryland, Deanna Mills of Atlanta, GA, and Liah Page of NC; her brothers, William E. Wright, Jr. of Maryland, Chebu Vance Kamau Wright (David Drakeford) of Virginia, Tyjo, Uron, and Hassan Towns all of Paterson, Theo and Kasim Page both of Paterson, William Mills, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; her paternal grandmother, Christine Page of Paterson, NJ; her step-father, Mr. Henry Towns (Daddy Henry) of Paterson, NJ; her uncles, Kenneth Jetter of Paterson, NJ and Raymond Wright of Cincinatti, Ohio; her aunts, Ginger Mills-Thomas, of PA, & Marie Mills of Paterson, NJ; sister-in-law to, Daniel (Corey) Roper of Maryland, Kareem Smith of Paterson, NJ and James Anthony also of Paterson, NJ, and Sharanda Drakeford of VA. She also leaves behind her close and dear friend, Ms. Mamie Mearse of Paterson, NJ. Shanelle is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, family, and friends. Far too many to name but none of whom are forgotten in our hearts. We love you all.
