Shanleigh Maria Galligan

Shanleigh Maria Galligan, 39, of North Chesterfield County, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, with her daughter, Emma Tunner, and steadfast partner, Nick Stewart, by her side.

Shanleigh worked as an office manager at Dixon Auction, where she will be fondly remembered for her strong work ethic, dedication, and warm, caring spirit. She took great pride in her work and formed meaningful connections with those around her. Outside of the office, Shanleigh enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including reading, cooking, gardening, and immersing herself in music, which was a constant source of comfort and joy. A lifelong lover of animals, she shared a special bond with her four beloved canine companions-Athena, Willow, Kaia, and Lilly-who brought her peace, happiness, and unwavering comfort.

Shanleigh was preceded in death by her mother, Toni Newkirk. She is survived by her daughters, Emma Tunner and Ava Wooldridge; father Matthew Galligan; stepmother Dorothy Galligan; stepfather Donnie Newkirk; grandmothers Gabriella Galligan and Judy Mitchell; and grandfather Victor Robledo. Shanleigh also leaves behind two sisters, Bridget DiBella (Phillip) and Haley Listo (Michael); along with two brothers, Ryan Hill (Taryn) and Ian Newkirk.

Shanleigh's kindness, strength, and love touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2026, at Salem Fields Community Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
