Shannon Patrick Obituary
Mrs. Shannon Olivia Love Patrick, age 46, formerly of Pageland, SC, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 14, 2024 at First Baptist Church of Pageland by Dr. Joel Dale with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Although this difficult day falls on Shannon's birthday, the family hopes to truly celebrate her beautiful life on the day she was born.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.
Mrs. Patrick was born April 14, 1977 in Florence, SC a daughter of Judy Raffaldt Rivers and the late Stephen Wylie Love, III. She was a 1994 graduate of Central High School and a former bookkeeper and cake decorator at Pageland Bi-lo with over 15 years of service. Shannon was a member of First Baptist Church of Pageland. Known for her vibrant personality and trademark smile, she never met a stranger! She not only loved her family and friends, but also her pets whom she treated as humans.
In addition to her father, Shannon was reunited after only 59 days with her beautiful daughter, Cydnee Taylor Dutton; niece, Zan Malia Deese; aunt, Brenda Moody; and brother-in-law, Brad Deese.
Survivors include her husband of 7 years, Eddie Patrick; daughter, McKenna Dutton of Pageland, SC, and her father, James (Jeanette) Dutton of Jefferson, SC; granddaughter, Alaina Taylor Porter; son, Zaiden Patrick of Lamar, SC; mother, Judy Raffaldt (Jerry) Rivers of Pageland, SC; sisters, Stephanie Deese of Pageland, SC, Samantha (Matthew) Catoe of Jefferson, SC, Carley Eubanks of Pageland, SC, Leanna Plyler of Monroe, NC, Michelle Herron of Pageland, SC, Lisa Clyburn Tanner of Lancaster, SC; brother, Joseph (Emily) Rivers of Pageland, SC; nephews and nieces, Brannon Deese, Zaida Deese, Nevaeh Catoe, Zander Catoe, Alea Zerr, Braden Zerr, and Logan Zerr; special aunt, Claudia Thomas of Pageland, SC; and her loving fur-baby, “Tennessee.”
In remembering her love of animals, the family requests that memorials be made in Shannon’s memory to an animal shelter of one’s choice.
