Shannon Shapter Obituary
Shannon was born January 18, 1980, in Fairbanks, Alaska to Kathleen M. Shapter and Kenneth A. Shapter. She grew up in many states, being a military daughter.
She attended Milford Middle School, Cape Henlopen High School, Del Tech Community College, and James Groves Sussex Tech.
Shannon worked as an Smart Justice Ambassador at ACLU District manager, Consultant at Airbonne, volunteered at Code Purple shelter.
Shannon was very proud of winning Miss Teen Delaware at the age of 16 years old, and Miss Congeniality. She had an amazing talent for baking exquisite cakes, cookies, and original creations.
Shannon's biggest enjoyment was spending time with her son, Keegan Chance Kramer. Along with helping many people in need from hard-ship.
She is survived by her mother, Kathleen M. Shapter, her father, Kenneth A. Shapter, Step-mom, Terri Shapter, her sister, Carrie A. Shapter, her son Keegan Chance Kramer, many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Rogers Hovatter Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave., Milford, at 1PM on Tuesday, July 11th. Friends and Family may gather at 12PM.

She will always be the shining light in the dark - she had a kind heart and warm soul that will be greatly missed. She will be a star and guardian angel to so many people. She will live on in the hearts and memories of those who were lucky and honored to have met her. My heart goes out to her family, she was and will always be a beautiful person inside and out. May you find comfort in knowing that she will always love you. R.I.P Shannon for you are now an angel with beautiful wings.
