We had many good moments together at Domtar Research. Shapour was brilliant and very friendly. It was always a treat tp talk with him and enjoy his smile. He exemplified a life well-lived.

My condolences to Omid, niece, friends, and family. I met Shapour at the Domtar Research Centre and worked with him for many years until the closure and his transfer to Port Huron and mine to head office. Up until Covid I wouldI regularly see him either on a bussiness trip to the mill or every few years after his retirement for a week at his home. He was a gentle, warm, extremely smart and caring person. I so enjoyed his cooking, our conversations, and doing a few renovations at his home each time I visited. Although we kept in touch by phone or WhatsApp, we stayed very good friends. I will miss him dearly. Attached is a photo from 2010 in his home laboratory (the kitchen).

A great friend. Always very welcoming, always a gentleman. We were colleagues at Domtar and stayed friends even though separated by great distance. My condolences to his family. Leon
