Gundrum Funeral Home & CrematorySharan Lynn (Grable) Unger, 76, of Logansport, took her first pain free steps into Jesus’ arms on November 29, 2025 from Miller's Merry Manor.
Born August 30th, 1949 to Ned & Bernice (Myers) Grable, who both preceded her in death. On December 30, 1983 she married the love of her life, Christopher A. Unger who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Kathryn (Andy) Poirier and Abigail Unger; grandchildren, Baylee, Madison, McKenzi, Eli & Zeke; brother, Randy (Deb) Grable; niece, Stephanie (Bryan) Felz; nephew, Andy Grable and many dearly loved cousins.
Sharan enjoyed laughing and spending time with family and friends, reading and using her extraordinary artistic abilities to create beautiful portraits and scenery for people and church events. Her faith was essential to her. She loved sharing that faith and hope with others and helping them come to know Christ.
She was a 1967 graduate of Caston School Corporation and a former employee of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Logansport, Pastoral Counseling of Logansport, and a case worker for the Cass County Department of Public Welfare. She spent the last 20 years of her life being a homemaker and loving her family.
A celebration of life will be held December 13, 2025. Visitation from 1-3pm, service at 3pm at Life Gate Church, with Andy Weil officiating. A meal for family and friends to follow.
