Her life and labors within the Hammon family was one of loving service to everyone around her. She was the house mother for many years and the children of the family remember her for her dedication to their care and comfort, especially the delicious, home cooked meals. As her health declined, she went to live with her daughters where she continued to love and care for their families until she was physically unable to do so.
